AUTHORSHIP POLICY
Within the scope of The International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research – MIYR, individuals deemed to be authors must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Substantial Contribution
An author must have made significant contributions in one or more of the following areas:
- Developing the research topic, objectives, and methodology design
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
- Concluding and making recommendations
2. Drafting and Revising
An author must have either written the manuscript or critically reviewed and revised it for important intellectual content.
3. Approval of the Final Version
An author must approve the final version of the manuscript before it is submitted for publication.
4. Accountability
Authors must take responsibility for investigating and resolving any issues related to the accuracy of any part of the work, and bear full responsibility for the originality, validity, and integrity of the work. This includes ensuring compliance with research and publishing ethics, as well as with the policies and guidelines of The International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research – MIYR.
The determination of authorship and the order of author names in the published article must be mutually agreed upon by all authors prior to submission. The International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research – MIYR will not mediate disputes regarding authorship among authors.
Corresponding Author
One author must be designated as the corresponding author. This person does not necessarily have to be the first author, but will take on the following responsibilities:
- Communicating with The International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research – MIYR
- Ensuring all authors are in full agreement on the manuscript’s content
- Submitting the manuscript
- Submitting the Journal’s Submission Details Form
- Complying with the Journal’s deadlines and requirements for revisions and resubmissions
- Submitting the Journal’s Publishing Agreement
- Coordinating payment of Article Processing Charges as agreed by the authors before the initial submission
Author Roles and Contributions
The roles and contributions of each author—at intellectual, practical, and conceptual levels—must be disclosed in the MIYR_Submission_Details Form submitted with the manuscript. This disclosure should specify whether the author(s):
- Conceptualized the study
- Conducted fieldwork
- Interpreted findings
- Supervised the study
- Drafted or revised the article
- Approved the final version of the manuscript
- Performed other relevant roles
The Editorial Office will include this information in the article during the proofing stage.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
If AI tools or large language models were used in the conception, design, data collection, analysis, or revision of the study, their use must be disclosed in the methodology section or acknowledgments.
Use of AI for language or technical editing—similar to the role of a human language or technical editor—does not need to be acknowledged.
Signatures
All authors must sign the Journal’s MIYR_Publishing Agreement before publication, in the agreed order of their names.
