Retraction & Corrections Policy

The journal applies the following correction and retraction policies uniformly to all published articles.

1. Addenda

If authors unintentionally omit significant information from the original publication, the article may be amended through an Addendum reporting the omitted results.
The Addendum will be published with page numbers in the current issue of the journal, and a hyperlink to the Addendum will be added to the original article.

2. Errata

An Erratum is issued to correct significant errors introduced by the journal during the production process, such as failure to incorporate factual corrections requested by the authors within the allowed timeframe.
A significant error is one that affects the scholarly record, the scientific integrity of the article, or the reputation of the authors or the journal.
All Errata are linked to the version of the article they correct.

3. Corrigenda

A Corrigendum is a notification of a significant error made by the authors.
All Corrigenda must be approved by the journal’s editorial board and are linked to the corrected article version.

4. Retractions

The journal editor-in-chief may retract an article under circumstances including:

  • Serious plagiarism
  • Multiple publications (redundant publication)
  • Data fabrication
  • Unreliable or seriously flawed findings
  • Other harmful academic misconduct

A retraction notice will be published including the article’s title, authors, reason for retraction, and the party responsible for the retraction.
This notice will be posted online with a link to the online version of the article and published in the next print issue, also included in that issue’s table of contents.
Before the retraction notice is published, the authors must submit a signed statement to the editorial office agreeing to the retraction.
